� The T.L. White Institute is the educational extension of the New Zion Baptist Church.� Named after the former Pastor (1951-1983), the Institute continues the legacy of sound Bible teaching at New Zion Baptist Church established during his leadership.� The mission of the Institute is to advance the knowledge of our students in the Bible and the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.� � The T.L. White Institute offers three programs that accommodate the needs of wisdom seekers of all levels. Each program has unique course opportunities for students to pursue studies that lead to spiritual enrichment or college credit.� The programs include the T.L. White Bible College, the Certificate of Progress Program (COPP), and the Center of Spiritual Studies.� Classes are held on the campus which is centrally located in the Illinois Medical District of Chicago.

Dr. T.L. White Bible College

The college program is designed to provide advanced educational courses for those seeking a professional certificate or a degree in Christian education.� The T.L. White Bible College offers baccalaureate and advanced degrees in Christian Studies.� � The instructors are highly qualified and offer classes that are accredited by the Sunday School Publishing Board of the National Baptist Convention.� Classes are available in the evening Monday through Friday and on Saturday mornings.

Certificate of Progress Program (COPP)

� The COPP offers a four-phased Christian training format designed to advance the knowledge of the Bible.� The classes include the “Basic Six” which includes the in-depth study of worship, stewardship, spiritual gifts, church polity, missions and evangelism in addition to other topical issues affecting the Church.� Students completing the three initial phases earn certificates of completion and those that finish the course of study will earn a diploma in Christian Education from the T.L. White Institute.

Center for Spiritual Studies

The Center for Spiritual Studies fulfills the vision the Pastor to train Christian leaders and laymen in the area of Spirituality.� The Center offers leveled courses that lead to a course card, a certificate or college credit. Courses are also available online. The Center for Spiritual Studies is an affordable alternative to other Christian training schools.� Our central location, modern facilities, and dynamic instructors make the Center the right choice to increase your spiritual base.
